Sun Valley Baby

I really wanted to take a trip with our really good friends, Gaylene and Brent. I found a groupon for a 2-night stay in Sun Valley Idaho and it sounded sooo fun! It didn't take them long to get on board and go!! I hadn't been to SunValley for nearly 20 years! It was soooo much fun! We went gold panning, shopping, eating, hiking, and much more! I love spending time with these two!! Its hard to get a picture of the two of them! Derrick and I take so many self-portraits and pictures everywhere!

The Shoshoneless falls! A little surprised that there was little to no falls. (Twin Falls, ID)

My hair

I really wanted my hair fish-bone braided and it is hard for me to do by my self. So, I taught Derrick and had him do it!! NOT bad honey!! I keep ya!

ADDITIONAL 50th post I Love Animals!

SO maybe 6 months ago, I said had 50 posts to get the blog up dated! Well here I am, 50 posts later and still not updated! Its the effort that counts and here is to another 50 posts!!

I get to play with and snuggle two furry friends at work! Stella and Abbey!

Second Job Short Lived!

So I picked up a night job. It wasn't what the original job description entailed. I loved the boys I was asked to take care of and help "nanny" in the evening. It never ended up being that and I felt more like a house maid. It was good to get to know the boys while it lasted and it helped me save $$. Boss and employee found a common ground to walk away sorta peaceably after 8wks!

Painting Nails

I consider myself the least artsy person I know! My stick figures look terrible! Well somehow when I draw itsy bitsy pictures on nails I feel like I'm picasso! HAHAHA LOVE painting nails still and trying to draw something noticible!

Mission Reunion

Derrick and I went to my mission reunion. I hardly saw anyone I knew but my mission president's wife had a blanket on display. Right before we left the mission to go home, we signed a piece of fabric. It took me a LONG time to find mine. I was quite surprised! WHY ON EARTH would I sign my name with shooting stars!?? My only thought was, maybe I messed up and that is all I would come up with to salvage it! lol Oh boy! Actually I am not sure if it really is shooting stars, that's all I could come up with though!

First Snow of the Season

These kiddoes love the SNOW!!

Ella and Cordie

Got to spend the evening with Cordie and Ella!
These are our good friends, Whitney and Richards little girls!!
Had fun giving baths and play with hair!!

Warner Kids

There are firsts for everything! First off, we have never had a Warner kids family pic!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS ONE.
And more importantly, Derrick and his brothers have never been to the Temple together! One of the most amazing places on the Earth! We throughly enjoyed every minute!

Pretty Pyper

Well we did buy a new car. It is a 2012 Toyota Yaris. LOVE IT! We choose new because we love to drive and travel and every time we went somewhere far, we would have to borrow or rent a car! Great gas mileage for the commute to work. I work in Mtn. Green and that is 30 miles each way to work. I am not complaining by all means. I am from Morgan County and I love the drive up there everyday! Anyways, she is a beauty but tough to keep the outside looking clean! Everything shows on a black car! Can't wait to take her out on a long road trip!

Trusty Trudy

I have driven a blue Saturn for 6 years (minus the time someone else drove it on my mission) and before that my sister owned it! It has been a great car!! On the way to Maddi's funeral it didn't have the energy to get up and over Trapper's Loop. On the way back it made a terrible clacking sound!! I knew what that meant! The engine was a goner and it would be the last time I drove Trusty Trudy!! So long little lady you have taken us on numerous trips to Boise, Vegas, many camp outs, many places a little car like you shouldn't have been and many trips Jackson Hole! You will be missed! PS we tried to get her fixed and it was going to coast about $1000 and the car with a working motor isn't worth $1000. Not ideal to have 2 car payments but such is life!

So long TRUSTY TRUDY!

Tomorrow is Never Promised

One morning I felt really strongly that I should tx my friend Whitney. I just tx, "hey how are you". Her response was, "have you heard" ...... uhmmmm no, heard what?! immediately I mind jumped to her husband and kids!! WHAT HAPPENED!? She didn't tx me back before I sent, "Whit, your scaring me, what has happened?!" I called Derrick to call her husband and see if we can work from both ends. I finally got a tx back that said, "Maddi died this morning." .... what!!? Never in my wildest dream would I have ever thought Whitney's baby sister would die. I had just saw her a week ago and she was her bubbly, happy-go-lucky self! Why do the good have to die young!? Maddi and Whitney were seriously connected at the hip. My heart broke into a million pieces for Whit! That night we drove to Eden to stop by Whitney's parents house. We bought vibrant flowers that reminded us of Maddi. It was there that we got what details they had on an early morning single-rollover car accident that had ejected Maddi. The details where sickening and the last hours of her life where devastating. Maddi's funeral was amazing. I was grateful for an understanding boss who let me have a half day off, given it was my first week of work. Until we meet again Maddi!

New JOB!

Well I found a job I was not really looking for. I knew eventfully I would need to get a job, no reason to really not have one. It has been nice just unpacking and worrying about getting our apartment ready. My friend that married a Sweed boy was a nanny before leaving to Sweden and the family she worked for needed a new nanny. Oh why not, I have never been a nanny but it would fit right into my interests. So here I am! I love it here! THe family I work for is great and treat me good! The kids are great and I have taken a million pics of them! Love doing this little ladies hair, even if she is not fond of the time I spend making it perdy! London and Jaxson are my everyday all day life and I love them to pieces. Here goes a million pictures!! They are seriously my life!!
