One day driving down the
street in Bountiful, we saw a billboard for the sidewalk chalk festival! We are
so glad now that we decided to go! WoW , it was quite fun to walk down main
street and socialize. We ran into friends, family and neighbors! We found out
that these people have to sign up for this way in advance and they get to work
the week on drawing before it is judged! There were different categories to enter into! People from out of town came to draw
too; businesses would sponsor their employees to draw! They were amazing!! It was fun to come back through the week and see how
their drawings progressed!The sad part was when the rain came before most were finished; many tried to protect them with a plastic cover. Most of the paintings were casualties of the rain!
