Well soon after Midnight had the kittens our family Cat of 18 years started to go down hill fast. On a Friday she went to jump up on my dads truck to greet him and didn't jump high enough and hit the head lights. The rest of the weekend he could hardly move! I drove up to Morgan to give my last hug and kisses! Boy am I going to miss this fur ball!! He was in my family for most of my life! It was hard to believe he would not be around much longer. Monday morning my parents made the decision to put him down. They could not watch him suffer anymore. What a great Cat! I will forever miss him and one day hope to see him again! He was buried out under the apple tree with my grandparents dog tiny lies too. I wrote a poem and here are some pictures of him!

He was sooo pretty! |

One of his last days; he wanted to lay with the kittens! Their Mama was not amused! |
We Will Never Forget
We will never forget
that day when your blue eyes and beautifully colored mane entered our home.
When everything we did around you seemed like a game and scratches were the
result of your victory.
We will never forget how you added many smiles to our face
when you would run into the mirrors as if it were an enemy trying to get your
family. You protected our family from strays and paid the price time and time
again.
We will never forget how much patience you had when we
dressed you up and strolled you around as if you were baby doll, when we moved
you from house to house, and when we added new pets for you to put up with.
We will never forget when someone tried to take your life and
you fought to keep it and the long recovery you indured. We loved to hold you
and carry you around the house constantly, it’s no wonder you put on a few
pounds.
We will never forget the pounds you put on. That extra fluff
allowed us to have lots of extra snuggles and we loved when you would let us
lie on your tummy and take a nap.
We will never forget the endless boxes you played in, the
laughs from the crazy things you would do, the funny places we would find you
sleeping, and continually begging for food at the dinner table.
We will never forget the morning wake up calls, many cans of
consumed cat food, and the bell ringing on the front door to let you out, and
the call to come in for the night.
We will never forget the last 17 years we had with you and
all the fun memories you brought to our family.
You
will never be forgotten.
Love
you, Indiana “INDY” Jones
